The renewal has improved corrosion resistance to salt water from the previous 700 hours to 1,000 hours (compared to our previous model).

- The renewed specifications achieve even greater corrosion resistance. (Testing methods for highly corrosive environments conform to the salt spray test JIS-Z-2371.)

- Corrosion resistance to sodium hypochlorite solution remains the same as previous specifications. (Results of immersion test in sodium hypochlorite solution are shown.)
- Tsubaki's unique chemical resistance evaluation method is designed for sodium hydroxide solution.
- Chemical resistance is also equal to or better than conventional specifications. (Indicated after 45 hours of immersion and 65 hours of salt spray testing.)

No loss of strength
A special treatment is used that does not affect chain strength (component hardness).
The chain's tensile strength and allowable tension are the same as standard steel chains.

Reducing environmental impact
NEPTUNE NEP Series Coated Chain does not contain any harmful hexavalent chromium, which is used in anti-rust surface treatment, nor any other harmful substances such as lead, cadmium, mercury, or arsenic. It also complies with the RoHS Directive.

Stacker crane for mushroom cultivation.
Due to the high temperature and humidity, steel chains would corrode and wear out in a very short period of time, and stainless steel chains would be too large, so NEP Series was adopted.
Sheet transport drive unit
A drive chain for the roller that transports wet sheets.
The device was used in a humid environment, and water droplets from the seat would get on the chain. The device was designed to use a general-purpose chain, but the corrosive environment was more severe than expected, causing corrosion problems.
NEP Series, which have the same power transmission capacity and high corrosion resistance, allowed us to solve the corrosion problem without having to renovate the equipment.
Cleaning machine
A machine for washing pouches containing packed food.
Chains are used to transport heavy loads and are exposed to large amounts of cleaning water.
Previously, we had been using stainless steel chains made by other companies, but they had to be replaced frequently due to wear and tear.
In addition to its excellent corrosion resistance, NEP Series offers wear resistance equivalent to that of heat-treated chains, resulting in improved running costs and operational efficiency.
