Allowable lateral load
JWB/JWH (Ball screw type/ High lead ball screw type)
Ball screw type and High lead ball screw type cannot withstand loads other than those in the axial direction.
If a lateral load is applied, please install a guide as shown in the diagram below to prevent the lateral load from acting directly on the jack.
JWM (Trapezoidal Screw type)
For Trapezoidal Screw types, we recommend that you provide a guide as shown in the diagram above. However, if the amount of screw shaft protrusion (L) from the top of the case is small (when the jack is stationary), it will be able to withstand a certain amount of lateral load.
Note: The L dimension indicates the protrusion amount and the position where the lateral load is applied (not the stroke).
