9. Storage
If you are not going to use the reducer right away, store it taking note of the following points.
9-1. Storage location
Store indoors in a clean, dry place.
Do not store outdoors or in places subject to humidity, dust, extreme temperature changes, or corrosive gases.
9-2. Storage period
- - The storage period should be within 6 months.
- - If the storage period is more than 6 months, special rust prevention specifications will be required. Please contact us for details.
- ・For export products, export rust prevention specifications are required, so please contact us.
9-3. Use after storage
- - Non-metallic parts such as oil seals, oil gauges, and oil filler plugs are susceptible to deterioration due to environmental factors such as temperature and ultraviolet rays, so after long-term storage, inspect them before starting operation and replace any parts that are found to be deteriorated with new ones.
- When starting operation, check for any abnormal sounds, vibrations, or heat. If any abnormalities are found, contact the store where you purchased the product immediately.
