technical data Small size conveyor chain Free Flow
What is Free Flow?
Free flow is a method in which the chain is kept moving while a stopper is used to hold the transported goods in a desired location, and then the stopper is released to allow the goods to be transported again.
The accumulation state occurs when the chain is kept moving and the transported object is prevented from moving by a stopper or other device, and the chain and the transported object slide or roll.
We offer the following four types of free flow drinks.
Types of free flow chains
outboard roller chain
[staggered type]
[Parallel type]
Features
- - The vertical dimension is minimal, making it suitable for compact conveyors.
- - Equipped with a brake, it can shorten the acceleration time of the pallet.
- - There are two types of SR arrangement: staggered type and parallel.
(staggered type allows for smooth transfer of pallets.)
Applications: Wide range of applications including electrical and electronics industries and automobiles.
2. Top roller chain
Features
- -The width of the chain itself is smaller than other types.
- - We can also manufacture double-strand chains with increased transport capacity.
- -An attachment to prevent tipping can be installed.
Applications: Mainly automotive and precision machinery industries [e.g. engine block transport]
3. Center Roller Chain
Features
- - Compared to chains with top rollers, the center of gravity is lower and it runs on rollers on both sides, allowing for stable transport.
- - The chain speed is constant, unlike Double Plus Free Flow Chains.
- - Rails and other peripheral parts are the same as Double Plus Free Flow Chains.
Uses: Mainly in the automotive industry (parts transport)
4. Double Plus Free Flow Chains
Features
- - The transported goods move at 2.5 times the speed of a chain.
- - Chain speed can be reduced, resulting in low noise.
- -A wide range of peripheral parts such as rails are available.
- - The roller material can be changed depending on the application.
- -Double Plus Free Flow Chains with snap covers are also available to prevent foreign objects from falling in.
Applications: Mainly in the automotive, electrical, electronics, and LCD industries
