Power-Power-Lock EF Series Boss Movement Amount During Assembly

Please note that when fastening a shaft and boss with an EF series Power-Lock, the boss will move.

This amount of movement is due to deformation of the shaft and boss, and varies depending on the boss inner/outer diameter ratio aN, and is roughly as shown in the table below.
