Small size conveyor chain lubrication

Be sure to lubricate the chain to ensure long-term use.
This becomes increasingly necessary, especially as the demands placed on the chain become more stringent.

1. The purpose of lubrication is to reduce wear on each part of the chain, prevent corrosion (rust), and reduce the required power.

2. Oil should be supplied regularly (about once a week) to prevent the oil from running out. The oil supply method is to drip or brush on the lubricating oil listed below.

3. Lubricating points
Chain wear and elongation occurs due to sliding wear between the pins and bushings, so this area must be lubricated.
Also, apply oil to the sliding parts of the rail and chain (plates) (see Figure 26).
