■ Boiler blower (FDF)
The steam generated from the boiler can be used for a variety of purposes depending on the equipment.
The excess steam generated by these boilers can be used to drive the blower, reducing the motor's power consumption.
Reducing motor power consumption by utilizing surplus steam
When the boiler is running, no motor power is required to drive the blower (FDF).
(1) When the boiler starts operating, the motor drives the blower. At this time, Cam Clutch B engages. During this time, Cam Clutch A runs idle.
(2) When the turbine starts to drive the blower due to excess steam, Cam Clutch A engages. At this time, Cam Clutch B runs idle and the motor power is cut off.
