Low-noise chain features
Tsubaki's unique spring roller structure is used for the chain roller.
When the chain bites into the sprocket, the spring roller deforms and absorbs the energy of the collision with the sprocket.
This reduces the noise caused by the chain and sprocket colliding, resulting in lower noise levels.
Noise reduction proposals
- - It reduces noise levels within the factory and helps improve the working environment.
- - Adds low noise functionality to the machines and equipment being manufactured, contributing to upgrading and improving the image.
- ・This is a solution when you have considered using a belt to reduce noise, but are unable to do so due to limitations in strength, usage, cost, etc.
- - Reduces noise in places where acoustics are important, such as on stage.
Noise level testing of standard RS roller chain and Low-noise chain
Compared to standard RS roller chain (pre-lubed), noise levels are 6 to 8 dB lower (based on in-house testing).
Test conditions
Chain tension: 3.92kN
Lubricating: pre-lubed only (factory default)
Measurement position: 300 mm from the drive sprocket
